I really liked this one. I for the most part avoid comparing myself to others. Because I always felt that unfair. We don't start out life like a game of monopoly where everyone gets the same amount of money and the same amount of turns. We all have been given different opportunities in life and have different people in our lives that influence us. Even if you were raised in the same household your childhood was experienced differerently than a sibling's.
but this was a different take and explanation of why comparing has its fallacies. I do occasionally wonder into this trap as I think it is human nature to compare. But this helps me recognize and avoid this pitfall even more. Thanks becke!
